What is the Edit PDF?
BYAFT's Edit PDF tool lets you add new content on top of an existing PDF — type text anywhere, drop in an image or signature, and white-out sections you want to hide — then download the result. Everything runs in your browser; your file is never uploaded.
It works like a transparent layer over each page rather than a word processor: it adds content on top instead of rewriting the PDF’s existing text, which is what makes fully in-browser, no-upload editing possible. That covers the most common needs — filling a form, signing a document, adding a note, or covering up details before you share it.

Frequently asked questions
Can it edit the existing text in a PDF?
Not directly. PDFs store text as fixed, positioned glyphs rather than editable paragraphs, so a fully in-browser tool can’t rewrite them. Instead, you can white-out the old text and type new text on top — the practical way to "change" content without uploading your file.
Does white-out securely remove the hidden text?
No. White-out covers content visually, but the text underneath remains in the file and can still be extracted. Use it for tidying up, not for redacting sensitive information.
Can I type Turkish or other non-Latin characters?
Yes. The default font embeds full Unicode support, so Turkish characters like ğ, ş and İ — as well as accents and other languages — export correctly.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The editor runs entirely in your browser; your PDF and any images you add never leave your device.
Is the PDF editor free?
Yes. Adding text, images and white-out is completely free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
